AUTO CARPET REPLACEMENT

Replace carpet in a car is not such a problem if you found us. We are doing professional installation and repair of automotive carpet. When should you think about changing the carpeting of your auto? The reasons may be different:

1. Carpet of your vehicle frayed, faded, damaged, ripped, heavy dirt, mold.
2. Car has a bad and unpleasant odor, and the smell doesn’t go away.
3. You have spilled coffee, soda, or other drinks, as a result, stain and sticky floor.
4. The age of your car is more than 10 years.
5. You would like to change the color or material of your automotive carpet. After prolonged use, your interior car carpet absorbs moisture, dust, and dirt. If you like eating while driving, it’s obvious that the floor of your car has stains from ketchup, mustard, or coffee. To get rid of these problems, there are several options:
A) Chemical cleaning of auto carpet: only suitable for new cars.
B) Replacement car carpet for a new one: when it is torn, worn or faded.

Replacing and Installing Auto Carpet

The process of installation automobile carpet isn’t easy and it requires skills and time. We strongly recommend do not do it by yourself, because you will lose your time and money. So, to do it right, the car must be prepared: remove the front and rear seats, seat belts, remove all plastics that hold a carpet, floor console, disconnect wires if necessary. Next step – take out the old carpet. Check the floor, if you found some rust, fix it with special rustproof paint.

When your car is more than 10 years old, we strongly recommend replacing the padding (material which is located under the car carpet). Padding is used for road noise reduction, as well as to strengthen and align the car floor, save the body from rust and mold. Furthermore, very often padding also absorbs moisture and begins to sink. Usually, when we do carpet replacement, we change padding too.

For installing car carpet and padding we are using special high-quality glue, as we add a rubber panel under the pedals, which protects the floor against moisture. We have a wide range of materials to repair auto carpet. For replacement and restoration we may use the original one, or second way – you can choose custom color and type of material.

Visit Detailing Docs + Upholstery, LLC for installation or restoration carpet of your car, you will save your time and money, will get a quality guarantee for years.

CAR DOOR PANEL & ARMREST REPAIR

If you’re looking for the best place for replacement auto interior door panels, recovering handles or armrests, here is the right place. We are high-level auto upholstery, and we take care of your car. Most common problem with auto interior doors:

To fix your door panel upholstery, we have to take it apart from the metal frame, unscrew it and disconnect lights and buttons, handles. The next step is taking off the armrest and old upholstery. For almost all classic cars we do restoration door panels because the wood (cardboard) isn’t strong and straight. If your car doesn’t have any problem with wood, or it's made from plastic, we skip this step. For replacement vehicle door panels, we glue or attached vinyl, leather, or fabric, making stitches if it’s necessary. Finally, when we reupholster door panels, the last step is to put it back in your car.
